Synopsis:
The course offers knowledge about the basic building blocks of a library, the connection between library parts and ARCHICAD, by also giving you a strong starting platform to take your GDL skill to the next level in the future.
- Libraries: structure, management, loaded and embedded library differences
- Library part identification, structure
- Basic GDL syntax, sneak-peek to general programming structures
- Simple furniture objects: 2D symbol and 3D model creation
- The correct handling of attributes
- Parameter handling, parameter connections in practice
- Graphical editing
- Graphical user interface creation
By the end of the sessions you will have your own library including a fully parametric table and chair object, and the ability to create more complex elements based on the experience of the workshop.
